Israel Tanenbaum (1921–1993) was a Polish-born farmer and night watchman in Israel who was murdered by a terrorist while on duty in Netanya. Tanenbaum was survived by his wife, Mina; his children, Aryeh and Esther; and four grandchildren, Chen, Alon, Idan, and Jordana.[1] He is commemorated by the National Insurance Institute's memorial for victims of hostile acts and on the memorial to victims of hostile acts at Mount Herzl, where his name appears on plaque 56.[1]
