103 Squadron (Israel)
103 Squadron, nicknamed "the Elephants," is a transport squadron of the Israeli Air Force (IAF) based at Nevatim Air Force Base near Beersheba. It operates the C-130J Super Hercules, known in Israel as the Shimshon or Samson, while the 131st Squadron flies the older C-130H Karnaf. Founded in 1948 amid Israel's War of Independence, its early service included Dakota transports and Bristol Beaufighters, while its current role centers on C-130J heavy transport. During the Israel-Hamas war that began in October 2023, the squadron parachuted seven tons of water to IDF troops in Khan Yunis, brought nearly 1,000 Israelis home after airline cancellations, and dropped up to 10 million pamphlets over Gaza during the conflict's first four months.

Mount Carmel National Park
Mount Carmel National Park is a national park and nature-reserve complex in the Carmel mountain range of northwestern Israel, adjacent to Haifa. Reported area figures range from more than 80,000 to about 100,000 dunams, depending on the date and definition used, and it has been described as one of Israel's largest national parks. Declared in 1971 together with adjacent nature reserves, it encompasses Mediterranean woodland, archaeological sites, and protected wildlife habitats. Mount Carmel supports approximately 670 plant species, while the park includes programs to reintroduce wildlife such as Persian fallow deer and wild goats. The wider Mount Carmel area became a UNESCO Man and the Biosphere reserve in 1996. The park was heavily affected by the December 2010 Carmel fire, which burned for 77 hours, killed dozens, and reshaped the landscape and Israel's approach to fire prevention.

Energix Renewable Energies
Energix Renewable Energies Ltd. is an Israeli renewable-energy company that develops, finances, constructs, manages, and operates solar photovoltaic, wind, and energy-storage projects, selling the electricity they produce across multiple countries. Incorporated in Israel in December 2006 and listed on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange in May 2011, it grew from a small portfolio of rooftop solar installations into one of Israel's largest publicly traded renewable-energy developers, with operations spanning Israel, the United States, Poland, and Lithuania. By the second quarter of 2026, Energix reported 1.7 GW of solar and wind capacity and about 500 MWh of storage connected to the grid; its 2030 strategic targets call for 9 GW of connected capacity and 7 GWh of storage. The company is controlled by real-estate firm Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd. and led by CEO Asa (Asi) Levinger, who has held the role since operations began in 2009.

Israel Pincas
Israel Pincas (1935–2026) was an Israeli poet, translator, and art consultant, regarded as one of the significant voices of the Dor ha-Medinah — the Generation of the State — in Hebrew literature. Born in Sofia, Bulgaria, he immigrated to pre-state Israel in 1944 and spent his career pursuing an independent literary path, outside any single school or movement. His poetry, marked by restraint, existential inwardness, and sustained dialogue with Mediterranean culture, classical antiquity, and European literature, earned him the Israel Prize in Hebrew literature and poetry in 2005. One observer emphasized his engagement with European literature and classical music, describing him as "more of a European poet writing in Hebrew than an Israeli one."

Masada Cableway
The Masada Cableway is an aerial tramway on the eastern side of Masada, a desert plateau and UNESCO World Heritage Site overlooking the Dead Sea in Israel. It carries visitors from a base visitor centre on the plain below to the summit of Herod's ancient fortress, covering a 900-meter route in roughly three minutes; published accounts give the ascent as 290 to 400 meters. First installed in 1971, the original system had been superseded by a larger, faster cableway by 2001. The newer system can carry approximately 1,200 passengers per hour—twice the older cableway's capacity—at a site described as one of Israel's most visited tourist destinations.

Chen Aharoni
Chen Aharoni (born 1990) is an Israeli singer and songwriter. He first came to public attention as a teenage contestant on the fifth season of the Israeli talent competition Kochav Nolad, and later built a career as a recording artist and international competition participant. He co-wrote "I.M.," Israel's entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2022, performed by Michael Ben David.
